I tracked all the typical tasks that come up in everyday life: • Switching lights on and off • Feeding the animals • Fertilizing the aquariums • Water changes • Differences between tap water tanks and aquariums with treated reverse osmosis water Water changes, in particular, show how different the time commitment can be—depending on whether you're using tap water directly or whether you need to produce and treat reverse osmosis water beforehand.
