But how well do 250+ turbocharged horses play with a 30 year old chassis? Let's find out! The spec, courtesy of the owner: "Mk2 Golf GTI 1.8t Originally 16v shell. Previous owner spent £6000 on some restoration work. G60 front arches, stock rear arches. 02j diesel gearbox from a Skoda octavia TDI AGU block with forged rods Shallow sump Bam inlet manifold K04 turbo 550cc injectors G60 brakes Car has been road mapped so unsure on power figure although expected to be in the 260-300bhp region. Running 21psi boost Full trackslag 3” exhaust and downpipe Clocks, loom, central locking, working TCS, electric windows, ignition etc all from the donor car which was a seat Ibiza cupra.
