In this video I show a practical method for linearising the frequency response of dynamic disc-cutting systems using iterative EQ compensation. The process combines: • cutterhead response analysis • RIAA encoding • repeated correction passes • playback measurement through a cartridge • broadband EQ compensation • real-world music verification The idea is simple: Instead of trying to force the system into perfection in one step, we allow it to reveal its behaviour gradually through repeated cuts, measurements and corrections.
