Installing Two Diamond Crossings | Two Double Junctions | Extended Crossover | Peco | Insulfrogs
🚂 Ep.26 – Installing two diamond crossings and two double junction with extended crossovers on the layout build! Welcome to Episode 26 of my first ever model railway journey! 🔔 *Early Access* Patreon supporters get videos 24 hours early This week I’ve been busy fitting two diamond crossings withfour right hand points making two double junctions in an extended crossover on the layout — a big step forward for the storage yard section. This new piece of trackwork adds a lot of flexibility, allowing locos and trains to be both stored and moved between the main lines and sidings smoothly and effectively. In this video I take you step by step through the installation process — from measuring and laying the track, to testing it with my class 66s and other locos. Plenty of careful alignment, a few minor tweaks, and a lot of satisfaction when everything works perfectly! Even if you’re just starting out like me, seeing the full process shows it can be done with patience and planning. It’s all about learning as you go and enjoying every stage of building your layout.
