Trattore Gualdi 30Hp del 1955, Motore Diesel a 2 Tempi - Accensione ed Aratura - Old Tractor Plowing

With a lot of curiosity, I filmed this Gualdi 30Hp Tractor during the 25° National Vintage Tractor Plowing Competition in Quingentole (Mantua, Italy) held in July 2020. I had never seen one before, and I was inquisitive about its start-up engine, very similar to Marshall's cigarette ones, so I've filmed the entire phase. I looked for some information about the manufacturer, and I discovered that for a short period in the 50s Mr Alberto Gualdi in his company in Cavezzo (Modena, Italy) created a kit to transform hot-head engines into Diesel, this was applicable for some models of Landini tractors. The model you see should date back to 1955, from the orange colour it's a second series and is equipped with a 5.0-litre horizontal single-cylinder 2-stroke engine that develops 30hp. A total of about 600 agricultural machines were built, the first 250 tractors were green, the Gualdi factory ceased its activity in 1959. Enjoy! 😉 Con tanta curiosità ho filmato questo Trattore Gualdi 30Hp (30cv) durante la 25a Gara Nazionale d'Aratura Trattori d'Epoca di Quingentole (Mn) svoltasi nel mese di Luglio 2020. Non ne avevo mai visto uno prima e mi ha incuriosito molto l'accensione del motore a "sigaretta" tanto da filmarne tutta la fase. Ho cercato un po' di informazioni sul produttore ed ho scoperto che per un breve periodo negli anni 50 il signor Alberto Gualdi nella sua azienda di Cavezzo (Mo) realizzò un Kit per trasformare motori testacalda in Diesel, questo era applicabile per alcuni modelli di trattori Landini. Il modello che vedete dovrebbe risalire al 1955, dalla colorazione arancione si tratta di una seconda serie ed è equipaggiato con un motore da circa 5.0-Litri, monocilindrico orizzontale a 2 Tempi che sviluppa 30cv. Furono costruiti in totale circa 600 macchine agricole, i primi 250 trattori erano di colore verde, la fabbrica Gualdi cessò la sua attività nel 1959.
