Resident Evil 4 Review - Does It Even Deserve To Be Called A Resident Evil?
Resident Evil 4 released to critical and commercial success on the 11th January 2005 on the Nintendo Gamecube, it has since been released on pretty much every device known to man. It's a beloved game by the fanbase and after I played it on release day I felt the same. Time however has taken its toll on my view of this entry. More than 15 years have passed since I played it last and in that span of time I've grown to regard RE4 as the harbinger of things to come; an entry which moved so far in its vision to reinvent, it doesn’t deserve to even be called a Resident Evil Game. We are at the halfway point on these series of reviews as I work towards the release of Resident Evil Village (8) and as best as I can I've revisited the game without any preconceived notions on how I'd feel finishing it. The big questions I answer in this review are; does it hold up this many years since release? Has my opinion changed on how I view this entry? And finally, does it deserve to even be considered a Resident Evil title… If you’re new here consider subscribing to the channel for more Resident Evil coverage and reviews of both new and classic titles. I hope you enjoy the video, if you did then put a like on it, i’d love to hear how you feel about RE4 in the comments section,I try my best to reply to every single comment so I look forward to discussing it more with you! Take care Davey #ResidentEvil #SSJReviews #SSJdavey
