Photo taken on Friday, August 8, 2025 On the second day of my Relaxing Aizu Free Pass, I returned from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen to Kinugawa Onsen. Kinugawa Onsen is a hotbed of affordable buffet lodgings. I've stayed at Itoen and Oedo Onsen before, but this was my first time staying at the Ohruri Group. This time, I tried the recently popular "separate meals and lodging" option, which offers breakfast only (without dinner) for 6,265 yen. The difference with two meals is about 3,000 yen (one drink included). I was torn between a 70-minute dinner buffet for 3,000 yen or eating out or bringing my own. For a single person, the two-meal option actually seemed like a better deal. The difference between the standard two-person room and one-person room seems to be 1,320 yen.
