In today's episode of The Paint Show I wanted to review English Venetian Red by Schmincke Horadam Watercolors. 🎨 ENGLISH VENETIAN RED 🎨 This is a beautiful red iron oxide based paint. It's a red-brown that is very STRONG. It's strongly pigmented, opaque and staining. I love it, but it won't fit everyone / anything. This one may not "play well" with other paints, so you have to learn what to mix it with. 🎨 TIME STAMPS 🎨 00:15 - Intro 01:34 - Paint info 03:49 - Swatches 08:49 - Mixes 13:24 - All results 14:23 - Conclusion 🎨 PAINT INFO 🎨 Pigment: PR101 which is Red Iron Oxide (same as in Schmincke's Burnt Sienna, but in the latter they also add PBk9).
