The Pan-London LTV Ethical Framework

With more patients living longer with LTV support, transition to adult services is becoming more common. This has raised queries around the alignment of ethical approaches to on-going treatment. There are also pressures on paediatric services around high profile appropriateness to treat cases where it is felt a network approach to ethics would add value and provide additional support to providers and patients/ their families. Join us to hear about the work of the Pan-London Ethical Framework Group to consider the ethical framework that the South and North Thames Paediatric Networks should adopt to support appropriate decision making in children commencing long term domiciliary invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
