Forecasts suggest that Samsung Electronics will maintain its number one position in the global foldable smartphone market this year, despite a decline in market share. According to global market research firm Counterpoint Research on the 22nd, global foldable smartphone shipments are projected to increase by 21% year-on-year. The analysis indicates that sustained demand for premium "book-style" foldable products, intensifying competition among major manufacturers, and Apple's new entry will drive the growth of the overall market. By company, Samsung Electronics is predicted to maintain its leading position, although its market share is expected to drop from 40% last year to 32% this year.
