vlog: girls trip! atv riding, beach club, our icks, cooking class, all white dinner

a few months ago I was reached out to & asked if I wanted to host a trip with a group of my supporters. I didn’t quite know what to expect from the outcome but I went for it. full itinerary, food, hotel etc included. all I had to do was gather a group to make it happen. I announced the trip in a vlog as well as over on my instagram & a few HUNDRED women were interested in going. I had a total of 25 spots open for the trip. when the time came to make the trip live & for everyone interested to actually book, 13 girls signed up & fully committed. and those were the 13 girls that came on this trip! add myself & my girl, we were a hefty 15 women deep! and I couldn’t have asked for it any other way. going into it none of us knew what to expect. a trip with strangers essentially. none of the girls knew each other. I didn’t know any of the girls aside from meeting them a few times on Zoom. on top of that you hear so many horror stories from group trips, especially girls trips lol. low and behold, we all clicked and INSTANTLY. as the hours and days went by we drew closer and closer and closer. had intimate, personal conversations on the side, laughed together, cried together. and truly created a bond (mostly off camera) that made it really tough emotionally for us to separate at the end of the trip. from strangers to new besties, truly. I saw all this to say this trip reflect a lot on the importance of taking risks sometimes (in a smart way of course), the importance of community, womanhood, exposing yourself to other cultures, etc. such a fun yet reflective trip for sure! like I mentioned in the video that y'all for watching & supporting throughout the days & years.
