This is a basic reefing procedure for single-handed sailing. Ideally, you should furl the jib sail slightly to reduce its size first, but this is a two-pom reefing of the mainsail, so please use the procedure as a reference. I believe the essential yachting skills to master when sailing single-handed are: ① Docking and undocking ② Reefing ③ Anchoring Once you can do this, you'll be able to sail more often even when sailing single-handed. Today, in a wind of about 8m/s, I tried reefing two poms at once, rather than just one, from a genoa jib and full-sail mainsail, following the steps slowly. The autopilot malfunctioned midway through, causing a wild tack (an unexpected and unnecessary tack), but once reefing is complete, the yacht escapes the wind and is not in danger. I observed the yacht's behavior, calmly tacked around a jibe, and recovered the situation.
