How to Fix White Smoke on the Porsche Boxster 986
The air oil separator or AOS is a common failure part that leads to white smoke coming out of the exhaust when you first start your car. Fortunately, it's a relatively easy and cheap repair. In addition to the white smoke, symptoms may include a check engine light with codes P1128 and P1130. This is how I solved the problem on my 2000 Porsche Boxster S. For my Boxster, this was part number 99610702304.
