This time, it’s a video of grass silage harvesting in hilly terrain at the Terchová Agricultural Cooperative, where domestic machinery and the agri-services Mikuš, Teky, and Šuvada were working. I hope you enjoy the video and leave a like and comment. CONTENT: At RD Terchová, grass silage harvesting took place with the participation of the agri-services Mikuš, Teky, and Šuvada. John Deere tractors and Tatra trucks were used for transporting the material, along with a self-propelled Claas Jaguar forage harvester. The agricultural enterprise handled part of the work on its own. Transportation was carried out with a New Holland tractor, and grass mowing was done by two Case IH MXU and Case IH Puma tractor units. Raking was also performed in-house using two Case IH tractors. Work took place in hilly terrain, where grass stands are diverse – not only grasses but also clovers and various herbs can be found. Fields are often churned by animals or rutted by vehicle tracks. Uneven ground and deep ruts make harvesting difficult and significantly reduce operator comfort, creating challenging working conditions.
