Camping at Coldbrook Campground in Azusa

Overview of Site Elevation: 3,350-feet in elevation Location: Hwy. 39 at mile marker 32.18 Amenities: 22 campsites with picnic tables campfire rings vault (non-flush) toilets. No faucets for water available. Seasonal stream water (treat before using). However, water flow may be low or non-existent due to reduced rainfall. Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires. Hiking: Access to Smith Mountain Trailhead, the East Fork Trail (Bridge to Nowhere) Fees: Camping Fee - $12/night per site and $5/night per site for extra vehicle PLUS Day-Use Fee - $5 per vehicle or current Adventure Pass or current America the Beautiful Pass. An Adventure Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required for vehicles parked outside the campground, too RV’s: Maximum RV length is 22'. No hookups. This campground is located on the North Fork of the San Gabriel River, approximately four miles from where the river is often stocked with rainbow trout in the summer. The Upper Bear Creek Trailhead (for backpacking trips leading into the wilderness) can be found roughly 1/4-mile from the campground.
