009 | DESTINO VITÓRIA ! | #009 #SV_CAU
It was a 200 nautical mile and 40 hours of sailing between Praia do Fundo and our arrival in Vitória. We faced rough seas, little wind, choppy waves, and a very cold night. To stay safe, Tom and Cau took turns in 30-minute shifts. Crossings like this require patience, endurance, and teamwork. And perhaps that's why the arrival has such a special flavor. At the end of the afternoon, sighting Vitória, furling the sails, preparing a hot meal, and finally resting… it was one of those small, great victories that only those who live by the sea can understand. ⛵❤️ Now it's time to recover our energy and give thanks for another crossing completed safely.
