NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Linda 121-B) Produced by Eddie Davis, this classic 'Brown-Eyed Soul' recording feature the vocal talents of Arthur, David & Ruben Robles with instrumental accompaniment by the Romancers along with the Ralph Ventura Mariachi band. The disc would be reissued without the horn intro in 1969 credited to DAVID & RUBEN on the Rampart label and shortly after that, the master was leased to Warner Bros. for national distribution. With emphasis on the plug side, 'Girl Of My Dreams', the disc was played locally but never broke out and made it to hit status. It wouldn't be until over ten years after it's initial release that interest in the flip side grew among the Northern Soul crowd. With an on-fire mariachi intro, and percussive latin feel, the energetic '(I Love Her So Much) IT HURTS ME' has become a highly coveted collectible. Several different bootleg pressings have also emerged due to the scarcity of original copies.
