The Production Process of Mosquito Coils in a Modern Factory Hello friends of Production Engineering, Mosquito coils are still widely used by the public today. Many people believe they can repel and even kill mosquitoes that roam the house. Mosquito coils are generally green and circular in shape. However, today there are many innovations in the shape, color, and ingredients of mosquito coils. It's important to note that circular mosquito coils have actually been around since the 19th century. These coils were originally created by a citrus exporter in the 1890s. At that time, Ueyama Elichiro mixed dried and ground orange peels into incense. The result was that the incense, when lit, could repel mosquitoes entering the house. Over time, Ueyama tried several new mixtures for a more effective remedy until he discovered the Tanacetum cinerariifolium flower petals, which could be used to repel insects. Mosquito bites not only disrupt sleep, but they can also carry dangerous and deadly diseases like the West Nile virus, malaria, and dengue fever. Therefore, powdered mosquito coils were the first human resistance to mosquitoes, introduced by the Persians as early as 400 BC. However, the mosquito coils we know were originally developed by Ueyama in stick form, which was considered easier and more practical to use. However, they were thin and short, so they burned quickly. Seeing this, Ueyama came up with the idea of making them thicker and longer. However, a longer shape would take up space and be impractical for commercial use. In 1902, Ueyama came up with the idea of still making the incense in a long form, but in a coiled or coiled form. In this video, production engineering will take you through the production process of the famous mosquito coil. If you like it, please click the like and share buttons. And if you have any feedback or requests, just leave them in the comments, and I'll add them to the next episode. But please be patient. We will discuss them one by one, and also interspersed with several other interesting episodes.
