The Dude Ikemen Chie/Hauzer/Homura- Guilty Gals
Oh boy, we’ve got a bit of a tough one on our hands today, as I face 3 female characters from Guilty Gear, all of them are all by Muteki and all of their AI was set to level 11, meaning they’ll be at their best, and when they are at their best, they’ll combo you for a lot of damage with devastating specials that will leave you dizzy. This took me a lot of recordings to beat these 3, with one of them taking a long time due to the brutal nature of her combos and just being difficult to figure out, and ironically enough, it was the one I fought in the past. So, let’s see if I can get past the grueling gauntlet of Guilty Gear Gals. (Try saying that 5 times fast) All opponents were made by Muteki with AI set to Level 11. All Music is from Guilty Gear X and they came with the stages Match 1 Representing the Wild Rebellion: Chie (Ichida/Vinnie) Opponent: Jam Kuradoberi Stage: China (ExShadow) Music: Babel Nose Our first course on this 3 course meal of pain is Guilty Gear’s waitress/martial artist, Jam Kuradoberi. Her combo game consists of getting close and performing various different martial arts techniques that do massive amounts of damage when they land. Her specials include a kikosho, a rapid combo into a giant phoenix attack and many more. Fitting how I use a female martial artist of my own in that of Chie, her persona allowed me to hold her off for me to land her rapid kicks, which seems to be her weakness, and then comboing her afterwards to really put the pressure on her. In fact, keeping your distance and putting the pressure on these 3 seems to be the key to defeating them. As you’ll see with… Match 2 Representing the Lethal League: Hauzer (Wani_Shimura) Opponent: Millia Rage Stage: Russia (ExShadow) Music: Writhe in Pain Now we get to the character that proved to be the most difficult to take down of this group and the one who I fought in the past, Millia Rage, and her last name says it all as she loves to combo you with her long hair and energy disks that will do a lot of damage if you are not careful, and when fighting her with a giant character like Hauzer, you are going to have a bad time. Last time I fought her, I took her on with Chu-Nin’s AI Patch in the play as part of @Thentavius's Trials of the God Slayers with Potemkin, a character I did not know how to play, but was capable of exploiting her AI with spacing and timing. And it’s kind of the same strategy here, I had to stay on the defensive and use attacks like Hauzer’s low punch and tail to keep her at bay and use fireballs to exploit the AI, which was not easy as I barely managed to beat her in both rounds in the only successful recording of this match. Match 3 Representing the Wild Rebellion: Homura (Nep Heart) Opponent: Justice Stage: Heaven (Margatroid) Music: Meet Again To end off this Guilty Gear Gauntlet, we have the original boss of the series, Aria Hale, better known as Justice. She’ll use her long tail to combo you at a ranged distance on top of her explosive projectiles and blue light screen splitting attacks, as well as her various laser specials, all of which, you guessed it, do massive damage. I haven’t used Homura in quite a while, since I usually save her and Joel for incredibly dangerous characters, and for someone like Justice, I had to bring her out. I use her wallbounce gun shot to set her up for a nasty combo into a grab for extra damage. Surprisingly, she was the easiest of the 3 to defeat because of how much I’ve improved as Homura ever since I first picked her up ironically enough during the same Trials of the God Slayers video (In fact, maybe I should revisit that one day to see how much I’ve improved on play as some of these characters, particularly phase two as I’ve had Sakuya on the team and currently have Towa and Piccolo, the latter of which I’ve really made improvements on, as well as Blodia as a potential applicant ever since I played Cyberbots.)
