Building My Dream Portal Car(Already Messed It Up) | Episode 1

Welcome to Episode 1 of our rear steer portal build! This is the start of a complete ground-up build where I'll be documenting every step—the wins, the mistakes, and everything in between. In this episode, I cut the front housing tubes to length, tack in some lower link mounts, and (of course) make a couple of mistakes that needed fixing along the way. I'm not interested in pretending every fabrication project goes perfectly. If something doesn't work, you'll see it. If I change my mind, you'll see why. The goal is to build a capable trail buggy while sharing the entire process from a real garage. If you're into rock crawling, fabrication, tube chassis builds, portals, or just enjoy watching ambitious projects come together, you're in the right place. Leave a comment and let me know: • What parts of the build do you want to see more of? • More fabrication details? • Suspension geometry? • Drivetrain setup? • CAD and design? • Welding techniques (bad idea.)? Don't forget to like the video and subscribe so you don't miss the next episode as this buggy starts taking shape.
