An Unexpected Rarity! 120 Bird Challenge (Leighton Moss & Foulshaw Moss)

The 120 Bird Challenge is almost complete! Dad and I are currently sitting at 115 species for the year, meaning we only need FIVE more birds to hit our ultimate goal. To try and cross the finish line, we headed out to two of our absolute favourite reserves: Foulshaw Moss and Leighton Moss. We were hoping for some solid sightings, but nature truly delivered today. We managed to get some absolutely spectacular, frame-filling views of an Osprey fishing, and we even stumbled across a completely unexpected Spotted Flycatcher!
