Ferrari F1 Clienti at Road Atlanta

With the the 599XX and FXX K race cars sharing the track during their sessions it allowed for a lot more time for the F1 cars to get more track time in their own sessions. Even if you weren't near the track you could hear the F1 cars getting ready and especially when they put the hammer down around the track. Those V10 engines from 10+ years ago really scream but it sounds great, One of the cars owners had Ferrari's test driver ,Marc Gené, take his car around the track in an attempt to set a new track record. Not only did Marc Gené set a new record he smashed the old one by 5 seconds! At the Corse Clienti event at Road Atlanta there were 7 Ferrari F1 cars which were raced by the following drivers - 2x Michael Schumacher, 2x Rubens Barrichello, 2x Fernando Alonso, and 1x Kimi Räikkönen which ranged from 2001 to 2013. The day before the event started there were quite a few Ferrari engineers getting all the F1 cars and all the XX cars ready for the next 2 days. It was incredible to see how complicated some of the cars were and the amount of time and effort went into getting a single car ready. I can see the massive benefit that comes with buying a previously raced Ferrari Formula 1 car and entering in the F1 Clienti program to drive at different tracks around the world.
