This video gives you a step by step guide on how Lanford agencies uses the FastCOLOUR large format printer to print on laminated vinyl. This printer comes packaged in a crated box which you can install yourself or simply have our technical staff install for you. The front part of the printer comprises of a flat print surface tolerance which includes a vacuum that pulls down the vinyl while printing to ensure it stays in place and avoids smudging. Next is the heavy duty ,curling prevention and width adjustable rolled media feeding device, which allows the vinyl to be fed accurately. Then there is a pre- heat and post-heat 3 stage heating system, with 3 levels of temperature control. The printer has a front dryer and heater for additional printed media drying. At the top you will find the control panel for head positioning, and for maintenance procedures. There is a rolling device at the bottom which rolls the printed vinyl while it prints. Moving toward the back of the machine, we have what you call the Bulk CMYK ink system. This system is easy to refill and cheap to run. The machine has an automatic printhead cleaning function included, anti-ink blocking, auto flash and moisturising.
