Freedom Month Drill #4 | 31 Days to Better Shooting
One of my favorite 6-round drills. You can pack a lot of fundamentals into 4 seconds. The AMY 556 Box Drill lets you explore how well you can put everything together at speed. Draw, Follow-up shots, transition, throttle control, reload, and do it all over again. You can explore the difficulty of this drill by changing the distance between the targets and the distance from the target. For this demonstration, I am 7 yards back with the targets roughly 1 yard apart. Procedure: Engage Target 1 with 2 shots to the body, then engage Target 2 Headbox with one round. Mandatory Reload Then engage Target 2 with 2 shots to the body, then engage Target 1 Headbox with one round. Target time is 4.00 Seconds. If you try this drill on IG, tag me, and I'll repost to my story! BELT
