Growing Petunias: Seeding to Planting Out
I grew Petunias from seed for the first time this year. In this video you will see how I did this right from starting the seedlings to planting out the plants. Remember when moving plants from inside to out you need to slowly acclimate (harden off) the plants to sun and wind. This involves exposing them to these things for a few hours each day, then moving them to a shadier, sheltered spot, adding more time in the sun and wind each day for about a week. Petunias are fairly hardy and (once hardened off) can handle close to freezing temperatures once they are at the flowering stage.
