حامِس الكَريمي: قِيمةُ الإنسانِ فيما يقدمه للحياة

Professor Hamis Al-Karimi, from Yemen, who has lived in Korea since 2018, says he has accumulated a wealth of experience and talents after obtaining a bachelor's degree in financial accounting, a certified accountant certificate from India, and a certificate from the World Bank in quality management. He has also worked as a financial consultant in several countries. Circumstances compelled him to write and author several books about Yemen and Korea, aiming to provide content beneficial to the Arab community, emphasizing that a person's worth lies in their contributions to life. Professor Hamis recounts establishing a company in Korea with a young Korean man. He says his goal is not only to export Korean products but also to introduce Korean culture to the Arab region. He discusses the current situation in Yemen and its causes, noting that he has addressed this in his books by challenging stereotypical portrayals of Yemen. Regarding the issue of Yemeni unification, he states that the people themselves, whether in the north or the south, do not desire separation under a leadership that is inclusive of all. Professor Hamis Al-Karimi adds that he was appointed last August as the representative of the International Commission for Childhood and Youth, and therefore he seeks to be a bridge connecting Korea and the Arab world, particularly in transferring Korean healthcare industries to Arab countries. Professor Al-Karimi further adds that Korea has succeeded in its remarkable transformation through human development and fostering a sense of belonging, as human beings are the most important element in development.
