Playback singer Sanjeevani is the original voice for super hit Hindi film songs like Chorichori Nazrein mili (Kareeb), Nikamma kiya, Yara rub russ jane de( Socha na tha), Makhmali yeh badan (Road), Uljhanoko de diya, Chidiya tu hoti (Nayak) and many more. She won the Best playback singer Ashirwad award in 1999 for Chori chori nazrein mili and was a Filmfare and Screen nominee. Sanjeevani is the first ever winner of Zee TV’s Saregama to have sung playback in films. Music director Khayyamji awarded her first position in the 1995 finals of the first season. Having performed 2000 Live concerts,Sanjeevani is an erudite and seasoned performer. She is known to compere with insights into the lyrics and compositions. She has widened her horizons by turning music composer. She has more than a 100 original spirtual tracks with 30 million plus views. Sanjeevani’s album and book ‘Meera and Me’ is a genre in itself. She has sung, translated and composed Rajasthan’s saint-poet Meerabai’s songs in English. Recently she has created another trend setter ‘Raag in a song’. These are classical bandishes sung in the song format and her song ‘Ghar jane de’ based on raag Darbari is hugely popular. Besides these she has released several sufi, ghazal and other original songs. In today's concert Sanjeevani will sing some of her best songs from films and some of her own originals.
