Replacing and Adjusting Brake Cables on Knott Avonride Braked, Brian James Minno Trailer
Replacing corroded and seized Bowden brake cables on the twin axle, Brian James Minno, car transporter trailer. Also replaced the clamshells holding the brake cables onto the Knott brake backplates (the upper shells were welded onto the backplates). Adjusted the brake drums, the brake balance bars and rods and the handbrake. Fitted new over-the-wheel straps to secure the race car to the trailer (much more secure and very easy to lash down). At the end of the video there is some footage of my Jeffrey 750cc Historic Sports Racer competing at the Doune Hillclimb (Scotland) on 19th September 2021.
