She is an illustrator and digital designer working in Cornwall. She shares her home garden studio with her partner Peter and dog Rufus in Newquay. Her inspiration for her work is found in the stories around her, past and present, in particular the surf and sea life of Cornwall. She is inspired by the florals and flowers that she sees in her daily outings and also by the 18th Century paper cut artist Mary Delany who at the age of 70 took up her own creative practice. She is also an Etsy team captain and organises local meet ups and events, fairs and workshops to help inspire, connect and prepare other designer makers in their businesses. We chat about her business, the importance of building community and finding your tribe and why sometimes you just need to suck it and see.
