Everything I say is my own free opinion. The VMAX VX2 Extreme is an e-scooter that's legally rideable in Germany, with indicators and an incredible power output of 500W and 1600W at peak power. Find out whether it deserves the name "Extreme" in this detailed review. I extensively tested the GT version, which, according to the manufacturer, has a range of 70km. That's 10km more than the VX2 Pro GT, which I also tested. The maximum load capacity of the e-scooter is 150kg. The handlebars are pleasantly wide, which provides a very secure feeling when riding. The indicators are nice and bright and provide a huge safety factor in traffic. The thumb throttle is easy to operate. Even on long rides, it's a comfortable ride. A real highlight is the 4-inch TFT display. The scooter is highly customizable – even PIN protection, for example, can be activated. A navigation option is also included. This requires a smartphone with the VMAX app – but the navigation instructions are shown on the scooter's display. The scooter weighs 21.3 kg, making it quite portable.
