Work Gets Underway | Official Anchorsholme Beach Works Update | Part 2 - protecting the coastline from erosion and flooding. Blackpool Council has secured funding from the Environment Agency for the Anchorsholme Coast Protection Scheme. It aims to reduce the risk of coastal erosion and tidal flooding to over 5,000 properties and infrastructure. I am the Public Liaison Officer for the project so know exactly what's happening and why. If you want to know more call into the on-site information cabin (next to Bispham Tram Stop) which is open Monday to Friday. Call in between 9-12 on Thursday mornings when the cabin is manned to ask questions and find out more. ► Find much more information at this link: https://www.liveblackpool.info/about/... ► Got any questions?
