Breech baby position //Baby's position in mother womb //Dr. Sireesha// Different positions of baby in pregnancy. 1. In early weeks of pregnancy the position of the baby keeps changing. It gets fixed in 1 position at 9 months i.e; 36-37 weeks. 2. The correct position is the cephalic position, i.e; head down fixed in pelvis. 3. In 3-4%, of women it is Breech presentation I,e; bum/ legs down, reasons can be low liquor, uterine fibroids, big baby where the free movement of baby is restricted 4. If the baby moves and stays in cephalic then it's safe 5. If the baby stays in breech position then as a safety measure for baby, it's suggested to do a c- section. 6.
