How Strong is Aircrete?

H+H aircrete blocks are routinely tested for their compressive strength in our factories, as shown in this video. We decided it would be interesting to see how long this strength lasts. Our Pollington manufacturing plant was built of H+H aircrete blocks over forty years ago, so we took the opportunity to test some of the blocks that have been supporting the walls of the factory throughout that time. We also tested blocks that had been left to the elements for many years and a block that we soaked in water for 24 hours. We were delighted to see that all the blocks easily passed the compressive strength test.
