In this video, you'll learn how to make Unfiltered Homemade Sake, also known as Nigori Sake, the Japanese version of the famous Korean Makgeolli. Sake is made primarily from rice, koji (a rice mold) and quality water. In addition to being a delicious beverage, it's a versatile ingredient in cooking, perfect for enhancing flavors, tenderizing meats and seafood, and removing unwanted odors. Using sake in the kitchen is like adding a special touch of wine to French or Italian cuisine, but with the unique essence of Japan.
