Heading West, but plans  changed!! travel vlog

After a few wonderful days with my family, it was time to head West. And typically when we leave here, we have been going over to Erie Pennsylvania to meet with my friend Gary. Gary and I have been lifelong friends and this is one of the rare opportunities we get to just sit down and have dinner together. So once again that was the plan. There’s a short 200 mile drive to meet with a friend. Well about halfway there the plans had changed and he wasn’t able to make it so we decided not to go to Erie and to fuel the truck up all the way and just keep on driving until we didn’t feel like driving anymore. The next destination was Iowa 80 truckstop, but we weren’t sure if we were gonna make it there with such a late start in the day. But the traffic was flowing smooth and things were going well, so we just kept on keeping on and before you know it, we pulled in here at the Iowa 80 and the wee hours of the morning.
