One of the biggest surprises drivers have been experiencing when receiving their driver's licenses is discovering they don't have the specialized course and believing the Department of Motor Vehicles (DETRAN) made a mistake in issuing their license. However, the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB) has undergone some changes, and today it is no longer mandatory to specify courses on the driver's license. Drivers who have completed courses such as TPP (Transport of Hazardous Products), known as TPP, or Passenger Transport are worried because they think the DETRAN made a mistake, that the course has expired, or even that they no longer have the course.
