How to fix Nintendo DS Lite (dead with no power)

Is your Nintendo DS Lite dead and not switching on? Does the orange light come on for a moment and turn straight off again? Don't bin it, fix it! However, as this is now discontinued by RS, I've taken a look and this fuse has the same current (500mA), voltage (32V dc), speed (F) and size (L 1.6mm X W 0.8mm).
