How We Built Innocent with Social Impact at The Core | Richard Reed, Innocent Drinks

At a time when public trust in the third sector is at all time low, how do we alter mindsets to normalise and standardise the behaviour of giving? Taking the keynote slot at Founders Pledge Forum 2018, Richard Reed speaks frankly and passionately about the transformative effects that philanthropy has had upon his life, upon his business, and upon the world, and, most critically, ardently insists that charity is not broken, and if done right, has the power to do immense good. About Richard: Richard is the co-founder of innocent, the No.1 health drinks brand in Europe. Innocent was started from a market stall, now sells in 17 countries & was acquired by Coca Cola for $700m. Innocent’s mission is to ‘taste good & do good’, with sustainable business practices & a minimum of 10% of profits going to charity each year. Richard, along with his co-founders, now runs JamJar Investments, a UK based start-up fund focusing on consumer facing brands that use creativity, craft & functional performance to create lifetime loyalty. Richard is also a director of the independent press regulator Ipsos. -- Filmed at Founders Pledge Forum 2018
