Horn Tap - What's different in an emergency vehicle?
This is a tutorial on how to use a horn tap when installed and programmed by Code 1 Solutions When installed, we take the vehicle's existing horn, and wire it through the siren this way you can control the horn's function directly from the siren keypad. By default the horn is a regular horn (customer preference, can be changed in programing) Horn Siren: vehicle's horn acts as a momentary siren Hands Free: vehicle's horn acts as a hands free siren. 1 press to turn on, another press to go to the next siren tone, another press to go to the next siren tone, etc. To turn it off, double tap the horn. Switching between horn siren to hands free, or back from hands free to horn siren, one will shut the other off. With the hands free button on, if you activate a siren tone from the keypad, you will deactivate the hands free button. Siren: Whelen HHS3200 Vehicle: 2020 Honda Pilot
