White Fence Farm, Romeoville, Illinois
While there are many White Fence Farm locations in the Chicago area, no other one stands out than the original Route 66 restaurant on Joliet Road. A combination of a family-style restaurant and rural setting with a zoo, this has been iconic for almost a century. The WFF is famous for its fried chicken dinners, served family-style, as well as having a small zoo out back. I did not go inside due to the effects of the events that were happening mostly in 2020 with most restaurant closures. Don't worry, I'll make the trip back sometime!
