You often live an inauthentic existence, letting yourself be swayed by "what others will say" or by what society dictates you should be, turning your life into someone else's design—a design imposed by your friends, social media, or TV series—instead of being the architect of your own destiny. It's likely that, like an ostrich, you bury your head in the sand at the thought of death to avoid anguish, without realizing that this denial only worsens your future. This sermon proposes an unusual exercise: visiting a cemetery to learn how to live. There, confronted with human fragility, you are reminded that you are not immortal and that every wasted day is a responsibility you ignore. The story is shared of a town where tombstones don't record the years since birth, but only the time the person truly enjoyed with intensity and meaning; following this logic, you might realize that, after decades of existence, you have only "lived" a few months or days. This isn't about scaring you, but about waking you up. Faced with the certainty of death and the irreplaceable value of each day, you are invited to examine the direction of your life and ask yourself if you are living with authenticity and purpose.
