For example, the main defendant in the case received a 20-year prison sentence. His accomplices received 8.5 years in prison. And now, a new sentence. NURSAPA PIRIMASHEV - CHAIRMAN OF THE COURT The Appellate Court ruled to overturn the verdict of the Mangystau Regional Interdistrict Court of December 19, 2024, against Seitkaliyev Nurgeldy Muratuly, Amankos Yerkebulan Talgatuly, Aralbay Merey Asanuly, Usengaliyev Zhalgas Kuanishuly, and Kulbas Darkhan Tolegenuly. A new guilty verdict was issued in the case. Seitkaliyev's final sentence was life imprisonment, with the sentences fully cumulative. The remaining four suspects received sentences ranging from 13 to 16 years. Unlike the first-instance court's decision, this time the sentence included the charge of "incitement to suicide"—the first court found no evidence for it. Therefore, the punishment was harsher.
