After a 36-hour long train journey, I finally reached Saint Petersburg, Russia 🇷🇺. It was my very first day in this new country, and I decided to test the Russian language that I had been learning for the last 271 days on Duolingo. Honestly, the first day wasn’t easy, I had a few bad experiences while trying to talk with locals, worst experience at the hostel, and I even felt a little lost at times.
