The idea was to restore the car and preserve it the way I remember it after Denny and my parents painted the car in 1977. But I wanted the car to be more enjoyable to drive. So disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, and a Tremec TKX 5 speed transmission were installed. But the most important part of the car, was the Tri Power Intake. I decided to go to the farm and find it so I could restore it and put it back on the car. But what I found was history and a clear indication of where this car came from and it’s not compatible with where the project is headed. At least, not for me.
