Ulnar nerve entrapment can cause these uncomfortable symptoms and affect your quality of life. In this video, I teach you five effective exercises to relieve cubital tunnel syndrome and improve nerve mobility. These exercises are designed to reduce pain in the elbow and arm and relieve tingling in the fingers. The ulnar nerve is one of the main nerves in the arm, and when compressed, either in the elbow or wrist, it can cause numbness or cramps in the forearm and hand, especially affecting the pinky and ring fingers. These symptoms are common when the nerve doesn't have enough room to move, which is known as ulnar nerve entrapment. This condition is also known as cubital tunnel syndrome. Exercises included: Ulnar nerve stretches - Improve mobility and relieve nerve compression. Elbow flexion and extension - Releases built-up tension in the ulnar nerve. Neurodynamic mobilization - Slides the nerve through its structures to reduce symptoms. Forearm rotations - Strengthens and improves nerve mobility at the elbow. Wrist and finger stretches - Relieves tension in the hand and improves circulation. Why does tingling occur? When the ulnar nerve is trapped, its ability to move and transmit signals is reduced, which can cause pain, numbness, and cramping in the affected area. These symptoms are caused by nerve compression, which impairs its normal function.
