SCADA Communication with PLC using Ethernet port
In this tutorial video, we will learn to establish communication between SCADA software and PLC using ethernet port. In our demo project, we have used Schneider Vijeo Citect 7.0 SCADA software and PLC used is LX8 series L&T make. We have used Laptop which has SCADA software already installed in it. Important point to note is that the PLC LX8 model is not listed in SCADA standard list of PLC drivers and so we have used Industry Standard Protocol driver to communicate with PLC. (In this way any PLC can be communicated with SCADA which has ethernet port using the method in this video.) We hope this video will be helpful to begineers, technicians and students who are new to automation systems. Subscribe us so that you don't miss any tutorial.
