Dr. Fernandez is chief of the Dermatopathology section at Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, Texas. He is also director of the ACGME-accredited Dermatopathology fellowship program at the same institution, which he started in 2018. He is an Associate Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine. Dr. Fernandez received his medical degree from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico; completed AP/CP training at UTMB in Galveston, Texas, and fellowships in Surgical Pathology (MSKCC) and Dermatopathology (NYU), in New York City.
