My name is "Kongari," and I'm preparing to open a fishing boat business on Yakushima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture after leaving my corporate job. I retired from my civil service job at the age of 39 after 20 years of service. After much deliberation about how I wanted to live my one and only life, I chose to leave my previous stability, career, friends, family, and hometown and take on a new challenge. Afterward, I dreamed of becoming a fisherman, but various things happened, and at one point, I even considered giving up on working at sea. However, this time, I have finally been able to own my own boat in a new place. Thinking about the journey so far, I'm so moved that I could cry. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported me so far. Now, in this program, I intend to document the days leading up to the opening of my recreational fishing boat, and share the backstory without hiding anything. The reason for this is that I want future customers to get to know me as a person, and I hope to create a more intimate and satisfying recreational fishing boat experience through social media and real-life interactions. Also, on a personal note, I wanted to leave a record of my life and how I, as a father (grandfather), lived, for my five children and future grandchildren through this video.
