We Are Curious How Much This EARLY BORN Foal Weighs!

What a surprise! Our Missouri Fox Trotter mare, Lady, welcomed her very first foal into the world—and much earlier than we expected. At just 325 days into her pregnancy, this is the earliest foal we’ve ever had born on our farm. As a maiden mare, we’ve never seen Lady foal before, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Even more surprising, we completely missed the birth! Thankfully, both Lady and her beautiful bay filly were doing great when we found them. In this video, we spend our first full day with Lady’s new baby, making sure she’s healthy, nursing well, and getting the best start possible. We weigh the foal, dip her umbilical cord, check her over, and enjoy watching this sweet little filly bond with her mama. Despite arriving earlier than expected, this little girl is strong, healthy, and already stealing our hearts. We couldn’t be more proud of Lady and the amazing job she did bringing her first foal into the world. Let us know in the comments what you think we should name this beautiful bay filly!
