Why did we decide to build two tiers? The bottom one is for electronics (to keep splashes out), and the top one is for glasses and snacks. We'll share the tools we used (a jigsaw and a sander) and show you how a carpenter dad transforms an ordinary board into a designer piece of furniture. Of course, there were a few adventures along the way: Mercury retrograde threw us a burned-out switch, an overflowing septic tank, and a gas shortage. But we're not discouraged! The new water pump now provides perfectly even pressure in the shower—no more temperature fluctuations.
